The user gathers solar energy within itself and then releases it at the opponent in the form of a high-energy beam of light and heat. It takes less time and energy to charge during Sunny Day, and more during Hail/Rain Dance/Sandstorm/at night. The power of Solar Beam is also cut in half under such conditions.
When this attack is used within a single action, some referees will make it so it still will only cause damage after charging somewhat; this can cause the attack to go off at a lower priority, or as the last move within its priority bracket.
